Another one of my little fridge magnet paintings :) At the moment I am taking some of my older Aceo images and cropping them/ adapting them slightly, but I am thinking that maybe if these ones sell,  I'll draw up some ideas especially for the square format. For the moment though - these are pretty fun to do, and as they're smaller and therefore simpler than the whole Aceo designs I'll probably try making them linework only for my download site.

These oriental designs don't take much time to paint, as I don't really have to do much with the background, so I did a bookmark and a fridge magnet to match :)

Branching out a little bit again :) This idea came about as we went on a family daytrip to a nearby lake and I bought a fridge magnet from the gift shop for the mother in law. This got me thinking that maybe I could make them myself - so I ordered some fridge magnet blanks and here we go, my first attempt.

Unfortunately I forgot to scan it before I put it into the magnet and I didn't want to risk breaking it when trying to take the picture back out, so the scan isn't as clear as it could be but I'm sure it's good enough to get the idea across. I have another 9 of these to do which should be fun.

This may turn out to not be one of my brightest ideas but I thought I would try adapting and simplifying some of my Aceo designs to hopefully be useable as digital downlads on my crafts blog/website.

These are the first few I chose as they are probably among the simplest of my designs but I plan on also working up a few more.

Thinking of trying out my bookmarks as lineart-only downloads as well. No idea if they'll work but I'm game to try :)

Another bookmark :) This one makes 6 and I have laminated them using A5 size pouches - in two lots of 3. They'll have to take a rain check on this weekend's free e-bay listings though as I haven't sourced any envelopes to fit them yet and I'm not sure what the postage rates would be. They look pretty good to me though - have sent one to my sister as part of her birthday gift ( the fantasy castle one :) )

Ok, ok, I know I said the previous post was the last bookmark, but I splashed out and bought myself a laminator and some laminating pouches and I need at least 5 or 6 to fill a pouch without wasting loads of space :) When I have enough - I'll get these bookmarks laminated ( if I can figure out how to do it ) and stick them up on e-bay the next time there's a free listing weekend.
