Aceo of the day - Under the sea

Aceo of the day

whimsical houses - under the sea

This one was really relaxing to do. The coral reef mountains were fun to do and I think they look quite pretty too :)

edit: it seems I preempted Illustration Friday's topic of the week lol.

Aceo of the day : On the edge

On the edge

whimsical houses - on the edge

This one is for this week's Illustration Friday challenge, but unfortunately I can't get onto the website at the moment to post it. The subject was "edge" and it took me a while to come up with something this time. I'm sort of making an extra challenge for myself to keep my entries in my "whimsical houses" theme but i don't suppose I'll always be able to :)

Digi-stamp of the day

Digi-stamp of the day: Baby Dragon Heart

Digi-stamp : Baby Dragon Heart

An update for my digi-stamp blog today. This is a new one for those fantasy/dragon lovers looking for valentine's images :) I'll work on coming up with a few more traditional images also, it's hard to believe but not everyone likes dragons as much as me lol.

Will work on some more aceos over the next few days too. I'm going to try to make one for the latest Illustration friday challenge but this week's theme is proving more difficult. *puts on thinking cap*

Pretty obvious what this one is based on :)  The Leaning tower of Pisa, The Colosseum, olive trees and three little cars as a cheeky film reference ;)

First of all a Happy new Year to all - hope it is a good and prosperous one :)

On to today's Aceo. Not quite sure if this one works -  I think I was in kind of a weird mood, lol. Anyways, I'll put it up to show i have been drawing, or at least trying ;) .  I have a couple of other ideas I'll draw up over the next few days that will hopefully work out a bit better. :)

Aceo of the day - Dawn

Aceo of the day

whimsical houses - dawn

This is my first attempt at an Illustration Friday challenge. The subject was "new" which got me to thinking of dawn as a "new day" so here's what I came up with :) Now that Christmas is over and things have started settling down I should have some more time to draw - especially when the little one goes back to school :)

On a more personal note - I have now recovered from my op :) the doctor thinks it was a complete success but there is a chance the problem could re-occur. I'll have a checkup in 3 months and hopefully get the all clear. Yay :)

I've been keeping myself busy lately coming up with some more Christmas designs for my digi-stamp website/blog. I have a couple more ideas but I don't know if they'll be completed in time to be made into Christmas cards. Still even if they're too late - there's always next year :)

To get myself back into Aceo mode I've decided to start trying the challenges on Illustration Friday as Aceos - maybe using my whimsical houses. It'll be an interesting diversion and should be fun :)
